Fixed Braces Orthodontics

Effective, time-tested braces for healthier alignment in growing patients and adults.

Fixed braces, also called multi-bracket therapy, are still one of the most precise and versatile orthodontic systems. Brackets are bonded to the teeth and connected by a thin wire that gently guides them into the correct position.

This treatment addresses crowding, gaps, crossbites, deep bites and many complex orthodontic issues that are harder to manage with aligners alone. Modern brackets are smaller and more comfortable than in the past, and ceramic options offer a more discreet appearance.

A typical course lasts between twelve and twenty-four months, depending on complexity. Check-ups every four to six weeks allow the orthodontist to adjust the wire and monitor progress. Once active treatment is complete, a retainer is essential to keep the result stable.

At DentalIA we begin every case with a digital scan and a 3D treatment simulation, so you and the orthodontist can agree on the goal before the journey starts. Our team is experienced with both adolescent and adult orthodontics.

Questions visitors often ask
How long does the treatment last?+

On average between twelve and twenty-four months. Simple cases can be shorter, while complex bite corrections may take longer.

Is it visible?+

Traditional braces are visible. Ceramic brackets are tooth-colored and far more discreet, especially in photos and conversation.

Does it hurt?+

You may feel light pressure for a few days after each adjustment. It is usually well tolerated and not described as pain.

Can adults wear braces?+

Absolutely. Adults represent a growing share of our orthodontic patients and respond very well to treatment.
